I've been busy spinning my wheels and going nowhere, but learning a lot about the things that are underneath the surface of this little sphere we call reality. The good new is my site has been authenticated by a archaeologist who works for the Nevada State Historic Preservation Office. She used some flakes of chert made by a percussive technique to reach that concussion. The bad news is the land is headed towards foreclosure due to my inability to secure funds for its preservation. One step forward, two steps back.</div><div><br /></div><div>More bad news was that the archaeologist appeared to be under pressure to dismiss other finds as "geofacts". The official line was similar material fractures naturally, forming similar shaped objects. This line came even after I presented artifacts clearly dealing with the same artistic subject matter, yet made from dissimilar material. I had collected five pointy hatted faces and seven bull heads, all with congruent measurements. I pointed out that some of these appeared to me to be carved Mammoth tusk and not common rock, and she countered that she was not a geologist and could make no official opinion as to their material origin.</div><div><br /></div><div>We met at the State Museum, and we went to look at the Mammoth Skeleton they have on display there. She further disclosed her inability to identify materials by being unable to say whether the Skeleton was actually an original or a reproduction. She went up to the head of the quite impressive beast and pointed out how difficult it would be to kill due to its thick bone structure. I showed her the point where the Ancients attacked and she seemed surprised that I had that information. I said that I had artifacts that appeared to be teaching aids for prospective hunters, essentially I said that I had read the manual. She had not heard of the custom of allowing the hunter credited with the kill getting to cut off the trunk in a length proportional to their effort. Yet another fact I've gleaned from the stones. I sent her a picture of the artifact that I believe was used for that purpose. </div><div><br /></div><div>She did give me a referral to an Archaeologist who works for UNLV. If it turns out that I will live, I will contact her to see if University equipment can be used to identify tusk material artifacts. I hesitated to contact her this week because I didn't want to make an appointment that I couldn't keep due to passing on. One way or another, I'll soon not have endure the dehumanizing condition in which I've been placed. It has been a long seven years fighting the forces of evil that believe it is okay to torture and chip people like animals. With the amount of effort I've dedicated to the cause of freedom, I know I will pass the test of my heart being weighed against a feather. There still is a chance that those who wield power will come to their senses, and prevent a tragic end to a horrible chapter of American history. Whatever happens, I'll come out a winner.</div><div><br /></div><div>In my discussions with the Archaeologist, she did give me hints that she was aware of the true situation hinted at in the historic record. I expressed confusion that some of my artifacts appeared to be a ceramic material made to mimic natural stone. She described the manufacturing technique of filling a mold, and pointed out areas where people were known to practice that method. I believe she is forced to stick to an official line that primitive peoples were in fact that, primitive. But during our talks, I sensed that she acknowledged the level of sophistication I see exhibited by the Ancients. She has to keep the people who butter her bread happy.</div><div><br /></div><div>This bring me to the fact that there is no one officially interested preserving the knowledge of the Ancients, other then putting it under the blacktop of a parking lot. From my perspective, there once was a worldwide culture that was somewhat homogeneous in it's technology and possibly a lost language, known now as First Tongue. I think that they achieved a high level of technology and ended up blowing themselves up. Most creation myths of the Americas could be interrupted as peoples coming out of shelters and bunkers after a cataclysm. Plato was not just telling a story about the destruction of Atlantis, and a former culture did exist with a high level of sophistication. Evidence of this is the large concentrations Thorium ( an atomic bomb building material) in South America and India. It looks like the India faction "won", because they were permitted to write the history of the affair in their Gitas and Vedas. Plato's version has gotten censured and edited.</div><div><br /></div><div>It appears that the Americas were extensively populated for thousands of years prior to the Clovis era culture. That means that most areas occupied by humans today, were occupied thousands of years ago. If people went to the trouble of learning to read artifacts (which is similar to the art of reading hieroglyphics and oriental ideograms) extensive amounts of information could be extracted from material right under peoples noses. But a large amount of our current culture actually believes the earth to be only six thousand years old and we are the pinnacle human achievement, put here by some "creator". By discounting the Ancients, we block ourselves off from solutions to problems already discovered. What economic solutions do we refuse to embrace? What sustainable lifestyles have been suppressed by an "elite" in need of slaves? What if you could make a boat that gets forward momentum through wave energy rectification and does not need oil or wind to travel? People could travel anywhere in the world for nothing, economic "borders" would be a thing of the past.</div><div><br /></div><div>I know if this hidden information would come out, our current economy would collapse. But this could be a good thing, as long as nobody was hurt. People needing to work forty hours a week to sustain a current lifestyle could find they only need to work five hours a week in the new "old" lifestyle. No need to live in caves or in trees, you could have a nice house because we have thousands of them sitting around. The reason people are made "homeless" has to do with artificial economic reasons, and has nothing to do with the actual supply of roofs. </div><div><br /></div><div>Unfortunately we are plagued with goons and thugs who do the dirty work of the "elite". They have been bought and payed for and are kept like mushrooms, fed shit and kept in the dark. Labels like "Communist" and "Socialists" and "terrorists" are spread like whitewash suppressing information so 2% of the people could "claim" 70% of the wealth, and people are okay with that.</div><div><br /></div><div>But maybe, not for long....</div><div><br /></div><div>Bye for now, maybe forever...</div><div><br /></div><div>-Bruce</div><div><br /></div>BruceRFIDhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/13478881796989822924noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7782786044831002765.post-48444985332825089192009-07-15T16:15:00.000-07:002009-07-15T18:27:48.794-07:00Spanish InquisitionNobody expects the Spanish Inquisition! <div>Monty Python was right!</div><div><br /></div><div>Here's the story.....</div><div><br /></div><div>I identified some of the artifacts as "Bloodletting Stones". Not hard to do really, if you know what to look for. It took me so long because I was looking for the answer to the question of "why was this made?", and the answer turned out to be so foreign to my upbringing that it was difficult to comprehend. (not actually foreign I guess....George Washington, the father of our country, was "curred" to death by it.). Turns out to be a thread that I can pull to try to unravel the mystery that I've been presented with.</div><div><br /></div><div>So, I look up "bloodletting stones" and "tattoo" on the Internet to try and come up with some info and images for comparison. Google spit out a bunch of stuff, and high on the list was a page posted by a bible-thumper, meant to persuade folks from getting tattoos and engaging in bloodletting. It turns out that the bible is filled with references about folks who use stones for bloodletting. Not just in one or two passages, but a whole bunch. Strange that something is mentioned so much, yet in Museums there are no examples of the "stones" that were preached so fervently about. My interest was piqued. (Looks like Mohammad used to pay for bloodletting..)</div><div><br /></div><div>I found that Mayans were into bloodletting, as well as other Meso-American cultures. So I looked at what written history was available. The Popol Vuh (national book, from Guatemala) was written down after the Spanish came. Most of it was a typical creation myth, why it's okay to hunt animals, why rabbits have short tails, which Deity begot whom, that sort of stuff. A large part deals with the warrior twins defeating the lords of the underworld. But the last third or so references the war they had with the "Bloodletters, Sacrificers", who were their relatives (they had the same ancestors). Three Nations mustered together 24,000 troops to wipe-out folks who were causing them grief. They sent "Lady Lust" and "Lady Weeping" to get naked at the river mouth where the dudes hung-out, and get friendly. Guys brought the chicks to the Citadel to party, showing the army where to go, to do what they do. End of Bloodletting Sacrificers story.</div><div><br /></div><div>Here's where the Spanish Inquisition part of the story comes in. Every group of folks has their own history. People come from somewhere, stay and breed for a while, then descendants go off to somewhere else. The Spanish were interested in this stuff, always looking for the "seven cities of gold" or the "spring of immortality", what have you. They wrote down the clan travelings of the Toltec, who trace their beginnings in this land to their emergence from "seven caves" (as a side note, I read interesting speculation that the "caves" were actually the holds of large sea going vessels, supporting the claim that they came from a place covered with water....but back to the story...). The story of the travels is quite detailed, staying in a place for a while, then travelling two days north, then so-many days east, that sort of stuff. The implication is they left descendants in all these locations. Scholars who attempted to map the travelings became frustrated because of missing details (what direction? it says they went four days, but it doesn't say where...). The person who wrote these (incomplete) directions down was none other then the grand inquisitor himself, Torquemada.</div><div><br /></div><div>I think my site, which I call the "Terrapin Station Hunting Grounds" could be the old Citadel of Iqui Balam. This site was lost to history by folks who wanted to wipe-out their competition.</div><div><br /></div><div>Here is the Bloodletting Artifacts Video:</div><div><br /></div><div><br /><object width="320" height="265"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/DR7ObrRBb0w&hl=en&fs=1&color1=0x006699&color2=0x54abd6"><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/DR7ObrRBb0w&hl=en&fs=1&color1=0x006699&color2=0x54abd6" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="320" height="265"></embed></object><div><br /></div></div>BruceRFIDhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/13478881796989822924noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7782786044831002765.post-13456538577980577932009-04-15T14:36:00.000-07:002009-04-15T15:01:54.354-07:00New PlaylistsHi Buckaroos!<div><br /></div><div>I've started puting my videos together into playlists.</div><div>Here is the one of "Stone Videos made in Vegas":</div><div><br /></div><div><object width="425" height="344"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/p/2E612A2C9D7D2073&hl=en"><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/p/2E612A2C9D7D2073&hl=en" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" width="425" height="344"></embed></object></div><div><br /></div><div>Here is an older playlist, "Stone Videos made in the Desert":</div><div><br /><object width="425" height="344"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/p/F8A3A34CC225FD1E&hl=en" /><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/p/F8A3A34CC225FD1E&hl=en" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" width="425" height="344"></embed></object></div><div><span class="Apple-style-span" style="border-collapse: collapse; white-space: pre; font-family:Arial;font-size:10px;"><br /></span></div><div>More Later.........</div><div>-Bruce<br /><br /></div>BruceRFIDhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/13478881796989822924noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7782786044831002765.post-83976605996465454672009-03-25T15:12:00.000-07:002009-03-25T15:34:55.144-07:00I've relocated to Las Vegas!Hi Buckaroos!<div>I'm now in fabulous Las Vegas, working on classification of my artifact and meteorite finds. Legend describe him as a bearded white man who taught the Toltecs the Arts, the calendar, writing, and the law.<br /><br />That could explain "Santa Claus" amulets I've uncovered.<br /><br /><strong><em>Sho'tokununwa</em></strong>,Creator, Sky God, Star God<br />-circle with cross design<br />-<strong>Head with one horn</strong><br /><br />Shotuqnang-u, god of Sky, the clouds, and the rain, is good, dignified and powerful. He is occasionally impersonated in one of two forms, masked and unmasked. When masked the impersonator wears a white case mask with <strong>one horn</strong>. When unmasked the impersonator wears a hat <strong>shaped like a star</strong> with feathers hanging over his face and his hair down his back.<br />[Colton 1949]<br /><br />That could explain why I found a statue with a "mask", or the "pointy hatted" skulls, or all the meteor stuff.<br /><br />In Cueva La Palma, Baja CA, Mexico, there is rock art of a "<strong>Sack Hat</strong>" man associated with a clan symbol for bighorn sheep...bighorn mountain sheep Shaman.<br />Big horn sheep are the spirit helper for rain makers.<br /><br />What I've been calling "Shadow Skulls", because the eyes and mouth are shallow depression visible when light is shined from the side, have been identifies in one book as "Boundary Stones" with the face of the <strong>God of Death </strong>or<strong> Metamorphosis</strong>. Apparently they used to be painted to keep the kids from moving them and messing up the property lines.<br />The eyes and nose marks are merely round shallow holes with a black rim painted around them.<br />[footnote in Stephen 1936;390]<br /><br />I would be interested in passing on care taking responsibilities for the site, to someone who knows or is willing to learn the right words, in exchange for a place to live.<br /><br />More Later-<br />-Bruce a.k.a. "Carved Skulls...Seen anything like 'em?" is popular in Russia, Looking in the book"The power of Myth"by Joseph Campbell and Bill Moyers, Found a picture from the Smithsonian institute showing a Siberian Shaman with a hat that had carved skulls with pointy hats on it. Whitley:<br /><br /><br /><em><br /><br /><strong>Spirit Mountain and the Patterns of Creation</strong></em><br /><br /><br />For the Yuman-speaking inhabitants of the Colorado River region, no location was more sacred than Avikwa'ame, or Spirit Mountain, which we call Newberry peak, in southernmost Nevada. According to the Mojave creation myth, the oldest spirit was Matavilya, made from the mating of Earth and Sky. Matavilya had two sons, Mastamho and Kaatar, and a daughter, Frog. Matavilya committed an unwitting indecency that offended his daughter, who then killed him. Mastamho directed the cremation and mourning ceremony for his father, and when completed, strode up the Colorado River Valley. When he got to the top he created the river by plunging a cane of breath and spittle into the earth, allowing the river to pour forth. Riding a canoe down the waters to the ocean, he created the wide river bottom by twisting and turning the boat. He returned from the ocean with his people, The Mojave, taking them in his arms to the northern end of Mojave country. There he piled up earth, creating the mountain Avikwa'ame, and built himself a house on it. There too Mastamho plotted the death of Sky-Rattlesnake, an evil spirit and the source of dark powers. Mastamho killed Sky-Rattlesnake by cutting off his head, with his spilt blood becoming noxious insects. Mastamho then gave land to the different tribes and taught them how to farm. Finally, Mastamho turned himself into a fish-eagle and flew off into oblivion.<br /><br />The importance of this cosmological myth to rock art is twofold. Known as the “Shaman's Tail,” it was precisely this myth that the shaman “dreamed” to obtain his supernatural powers: In Yuman fashion, the shaman was believed to re experience and witness these mythic events of creation in the supernatural world and, from them, obtain his power. As the anthropologist Alfred Kroeber wrote in 1925, “It is of [Mastamho's] house that shamans dream, for here their shadows were as little boys in the face of Mastamho, and received from him their ordained powers, confirmed by tests on the spot.” It is at the foot of Spirit Mountain that the important Grapevine Canyon petroglyph site is located; that is Grapevine Canyon is Mastamho's House, where the Mojave shaman went to witness, in his dreams, the creation of the world.<br /><br /><br />-------------------------------------------------------------------------------<br /><br /><br />Cool stuff ,eh? The picture for Grapevine Canyon shows a rock covered with petroglyphs, that any competent electrical engineer could use for graphics in a lecture on how television works. The important thing to note is the rock they are created on has the same outline as the”Buffalo Stone” on my property, and the skull with a pointy hat on my stone can be seen on the cliff face at Grapevine Canyon.<br /><br />I can only guess at the intent of the artists that created the the works I'm finding. I do know I seen to have come across the remnants of a “rock-carving school”. Seminar level is learning to open the “eyes” of a rock. Freshman level seems to be create a Buffalo Stone. Sophomore level, create a skull with a pointy hat. Junior level, create a pointy hatted skull on a Buffalo Stone. Senior projects involve putting detail on the hat, in the form of an emblem of a Buffalo looking at a Meteor. Graduate level makes large artworks and Snake Heads. <br /><br />The only Cultural parallel I can come across is Disneyland, with Micky Mouse taking the place of the Skull character. Style wise, Aztec used a lot of skull imagery, and the Takic speakers around here spoke a dialect of the Aztec language. Right or Wrong?" is "Wrong". Don't worry, even though I'm a newbie to this whole space-rock gig, I can take it. The big thing is, it has led me into is something of cultural significance that has to do the effect of a meteor on a population.<br /><br />Here is the story in a nut-shell:<br />Walking around desert, find rock, think it's a meteorite, closer examination reveals it to be a rock. Interest peeked, found rock that looked a lot like a meteorite, made a YouTube Video, got no posts, but did receive comments from folks I emailed.<br /><br />Kept on collecting out-of place-rocks, some look like "Shaman Stones" ( remember the TV series 'Amazing Stories', starting sequence had Shaman telling story around fire, Shaman had Shaman Stones), found stone with square notch cut in it. Found stones that would make cool pendents, with meteor (ball with pointy tales) carved on them(first petroglyphs<images carved on rocks>). Found stone tools which could be used to carve the notch in the shaman stones(tools are amazing, ergonomic and sill sharp!).<br /><br />Found a lot more Shaman stones and tools, started to learn to identify tool marks on stone, started to collect stones that did not look like meteorites, but had tool marks. Some looked like game animals, some looked like Spirit Helper animals (grizzly bear, snake head), some looked like skulls wearing pointy hats.<br /><br />I now have a plate with 17 pointy hatted skulls. The artwork is amazing, no two are exactly alike, but all seem to have been carved from the same "Mythic" image.<br /><br />Started looking at stuff larger then "jewelry" and started finding artworks seen in "Meteor Art... Medicine Bundle?"(pictogram<rock paintings>, petroglyphs<rock carvings>). After I posted video, I found a Geo glyph (modified natural features forming a large picture), that turns out to be the "model" that all the stone skulls are based on. I'll have to post a good picture, but imagine a 12 foot skull with a pointy hat spitting out meteorites.<br /><br />I know of no precidence for what I'm finding, so have started reading books on rock carvings. Turns out that there a 2 known petroglyph sites between my place and 29 Palms. Since the subject matter I'm finding seems to deal with "Mythic Time-Space", I think it is the work of Yuman, as opposed to Sorreno. Still checking it out.<br /><br />More Later-<br />-Bruce<br />Terrapin Station Hunting Grounds<br />Joshua TreeBruceRFIDhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/13478881796989822924noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7782786044831002765.post-55699034326513670552008-11-14T12:44:00.000-08:002008-11-14T13:03:27.265-08:00Meteor ArtHi Buckaroos!<br /><br />Things have gotten interesting in the hunting grounds. Please watch the following video revealing a petroglyph and stones carved with a meteorite theme. Please note the quality of the footage does not do the magnificent artworks justice. The makers were geniuses who knew the craft at a master level.<br /><br /><object width="425" height="350"> <param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/sCAMBlq_-rY"> </param> <embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/sCAMBlq_-rY" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" width="425" height="350"> </embed> </object><br /><br />After I made this video, I found an even more amazing piece of work that I'm just beginning to understand. It has no precedent in anything I've been taught in school.<br /><br />Best I can guess, a Meteorite came from the buffalo constellation and caused a lot of death. Or it could be Buffalo hunters were displaced by a meteorite, I just know the culture represents death as a skull with a pointy hat with an emblem on the brim between the eyes. I seem to be in over my head and could use the help of an archaeologist.<br /><br />Mote later Buckaroos!<br />-Meteorite Bruce<br />Terrapin Station Hunting Grounds<br />Joshua Tree<br />CaliforniaBruceRFIDhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/13478881796989822924noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7782786044831002765.post-47601147670985783032008-10-31T13:43:00.000-07:002008-10-31T13:46:09.861-07:00Right or Wrong?I never thought finding something of value could be so hard to confirm.<br />I could use your help.
